Did companies rush their “back to office” plans?

At one point this summer, I almost threw away my stash of masks. I’m glad I didn’t.

With the Delta variant poised to wreck havoc this fall and winter, it looks like we have more months of social distancing and masking up ahead of us.

I wasn’t the only person to be prematurely exuberant. A number of companies gleefully announced “back to office” plans during those blissful, innocent days earlier this summer.
